About Our Senior Pastor:
It is my sincere honor to introduce myself. My name is Pastor Michael Alford. I attended seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, and for the past seventeen years I have faithfully served as a pastor in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area. My calling to ministry has been shaped through years of prayer, service, leadership, and a deep commitment to helping others grow in their faith and personal relationship with God.
Early in my ministry, I was blessed with the opportunity to tour with the renowned gospel musician Lanny Wolfe and to participate in various musical ministries and church positions throughout the country. These experiences cultivated within me a profound love for worship and a deep appreciation for the power of music as a ministry that draws hearts closer to God. Those early opportunities helped strengthen and affirm my calling to pastoral leadership and spiritual guidance.
Throughout my years in ministry, I have been privileged to walk alongside many individuals as they journey in their faith. My calling as a pastor extends beyond preaching and teaching the Word of God; it also includes encouraging, strengthening, and guiding people toward a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. I firmly believe that true ministry is rooted in humility, compassion, faithfulness, and a genuine love for people.
Today, I have the honor of serving as pastor of Mt. Pisgah Apostolic Church for All People, a congregation committed to heartfelt worship, spiritual growth, and serving our community with love and compassion. While we are a smaller congregation, we are a devoted body of believers who sincerely love God and earnestly seek to grow in His Word and in the moving of His Spirit. Our growth has been steady and purposeful, allowing individuals the time and space for healing, restoration, and spiritual maturity.
My ministry is founded on the belief that the love and grace of Jesus Christ are available to all people. My desire is to cultivate a safe and welcoming place of worship where individuals from every background can gather to seek God, learn His Word, and grow in faith. I am deeply committed to helping others build a genuine and life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, while encouraging believers to walk in love, extend grace, and show mercy in their daily lives.
I believe wholeheartedly in the calling given by Christ to make disciples and to share the Good News with the world. I also believe that God anoints His servants to bring hope to the hurting, healing to the brokenhearted, and freedom to those who feel bound by the burdens and struggles of life. It is my heartfelt desire to see lives transformed through the power of God’s truth, love, and redeeming grace.
As our church continues to grow, we are prayerfully seeking God as we worship, teach, and minister more effectively to our community. Our vision is not simply to grow in number, but to grow in our ability to serve others, reach those who are searching for hope, and provide encouragement and spiritual support within our community.
I firmly believe that the Church is one body with many members, each uniquely called according to God’s purpose. Through unity, faith, and obedience to the will of God, we seek to fulfill the calling placed upon us—to love God, to love people, and to faithfully share the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
With unwavering faith and dedication, I remain committed to serving God and His people. My greatest desire is to help guide others toward the life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ that brings true hope, lasting freedom, and complete restoration.
In Christ’s Love,
Rev. Pastor Michael Alford
